Chinese companies together have already invested more than 24 billion dollars in Angola, according to the secretary-general of the Association of Jiangsu Merchants and Industries in Angola, Chen Shuming.
He explained on Saturday at a press conference held at the Kilamba Shopping Centre in Luanda that Chinese companies, in a universe of 500 firms, employ more than 400,000 Angolan workers.
For his part, Yu Xinfeng, owner of Kilamba Shopping, acknowledged the progress made by the Angolan authorities in protecting, securing and legalising Chinese investments.
Yu Xinfeng also reaffirmed the commitment of Chinese investments to the training and capacity building of Angolan human resources, in order to respond to current challenges.
